PlayStation 5 Slim just got a massive price cut, but you don't have long

PlayStation 5 Slim just got a massive price cut, but you don't have long

The January sales are coming thick and fast

This is going to suck for everyone who purchased one before Christmas, however, if you’re looking to upgrade your console without its full retail price attached, you’re in luck because the PlayStation 5 Slim has experienced a huge price cut.

We were first alerted to the deal via IGN UK Deals on Twitter, in which the account details that those looking to upgrade can get 15% off the usual price, meaning they can get the disc version of the PS5 Slim for £437.85.

All you need to do is follow the links provided – just so it’s easier to find the right deal – and then add the code “JANJOY15” at checkout. This is the most important step because, without this code, you won’t get the money off; it sounds obvious but it bears repeating.

For those wanting to save even more money, the PS5 Slim Digital is even cheaper coming in at £350.92 with the aforementioned voucher, which we can all agree is an absolute steal for a Sony product.

Although no specific deadline for when this voucher stops working is given, we can assume that it’ll be within the next couple of weeks. However, it could end even sooner than that, meaning if you intend to treat yourself do it sooner rather than later to avoid getting stung by a full-price console.

Don't forget to watch the Glasshouse story trailer before you go

Just make sure you keep tiny fingers away from your new console, unlike the upset aunt who had to deal with her nephew shoving ham into the disc drive of her son’s brand-new PS5. It’s the stuff of nightmares and it’s already happened to one person, so let’s try to avoid it happening again.

Alongside the PS5 Slim deals, there are also plenty of bargains to be had on top-rated games, so do be sure to browse what’s on offer before you finalise your purchase – several bargains are always more satisfying than one.
