PlayStation fans are still living in hope that Bloodborne will one day get a remaster or remake, but they’re now fearing they’ll need a ridiculously expensive console to play it.
Bloodborne is without a doubt one of the best PlayStation exclusives ever made, strange because it really didn’t sell well when it first released.
Take a look at Bloodborne below
Now I’d say the relatively low sales are indicative of the time of release, and if Bloodborne released nowadays with all the hype from Elden Ring and its DLC, it would have selled much better.

Everyone who wants a remaster or remake has used this logic at some point, though if Sony is still unsure if it’ll be worth the investment, there’s every chance the game is made as a launch title for the next major piece of console hardware.
In a Reddit thread by PublicOk8678, it was theorised that the PS6’s supposed 2028 launch will coincide with Bloodborne’s 13th anniversary. The Demon Souls remake was a launch title for the PS5, also on the game’s 13th anniversary.
God knows if this is the actual plan, but if it is, fans will need to spend a small fortune on the PS6 just to have the remaster they’ve been waiting for.
“Save yourself the trouble. Don’t even think about it. Just enjoy what we’ve got for now” said one fan, who’s clearly been haunted by the idea of a remaster for far too long.

“Don't give me even a semblance of hope” added another fan who appears to have given up entirely.
One fan was a bit more hopeful though, believing there’s |no way they would have done it for Demon's Souls if they weren't going to do it for Bloodborne.”
Fans of Bloodborne continue to cope, but with the PS5 Pro almost here perhaps it’s finally time for PlayStation to give us what we’ve been waiting for, or another Horizon remake, whichever it fancies.
