Bloodborne fans once again put on clown make-up to see if a remaster would get announced during last night’s State Of Play, and once again they walked away disappointed.
One remaster was announced though, Days Gone Remastered, which would have been a nice surprise if it hadn’t been leaked ages ago.
The game has been revamped with a number of enhancements, and even a new mode added for good measure
Honestly I’m happy for the Days Gone fans, though I’m sure the game’s creator will be livid since he wasn’t happy with the game’s protagonist, Deacon, appearing in Astro Bot as a cameo.

Of course the excitement has been muddled a bit by the elephant in the room, we got a Days Gone remaster before a Bloodborne one.Fans have taken to various forums and Reddit threads to talk about this.
“Of all the remasters from Sony this one makes the least amount of sense. 5 year old game and it's not even going to get a sequel. Well, maybe it will now that Bend just had their live service cancelled but who knows” said one PlayStation fan regarding the remaster.
They were replied to by another who teased “well, Sony still has a couple of games to remaster to avoid thinking about Bloodborne.”
Another user questioned the decision directly, demanding to know “how come this will be released before a Bloodborne remaster?”

“Because Miyazaki told Sony he doesn't want anyone to touch bloodborne because he wants to do it himself is just too busy at the moment,” replied another, though I believe that’s just speculation.
We will get that Bloodborne remaster one day, but I swear if we get The Last Of Us Part 1 Remastered: Definitive Edition before we do, I might just take a hammer to my PlayStation 5…
