Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) is one of those games I tend to keep going back to, usually whenever I’ve just watched a Star Wars film or show and get in the mood for some intergalactic conflict.
Luckily, I play on console though as PC players have deemed Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) “unplayable” thanks to losers hacking the game.
Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) was one of Electronic Arts’ most controversial titles when it first launched, but it improved over time.
When it first launched, it was littered with microtransactions that essentially ripped the fun out of the game as to unlock the good stuff, you’d need to pay actual money or grind for years to acquire things naturally.

Battlefront II was completely overhauled thoughed in the following months and now it’s a great multiplayer game, but hackers have once again made it not fun to play.
“It's heartbreaking to see the state of the Battlefront series these days,” began one disgruntled fan on Reddit, “Between Battlefront 3 getting cancelled near the finish line, DICE abandoning BFII in favour of Battlefield 2042, the Battlefront Collection launching in a poor state, and now the PC servers getting hacked, Battlefront is a truly cursed series.”
“All of the Battlefield/Battlefront games on PC are rife with hackers and cheaters,” began another user, “I loved playing Battlefield 5 but after encountering really obvious, game-ruining hackers in like one match a night starting last year, I stopped playing. There is no real way to report people for hacking, and the devs don't care.”
It’s been said the hackers have been harassing players with harmful messages and even pretending to be developers.

Hopefully, Electronic Arts steps in and does something about the problem, but the game is several years old now so the chances of it getting fixed seem unlikely.
