Bloodborne fans are having quite a fun year… unofficially and it shows no signs of slowing down thanks to this brand-new download.
So Sony and FromSoftware may not have finally announced a Bloodborne remaster or an official PC port.
Check out the launch trailer for Bloodborne below!
However, fans of the 2015 action RPG title have taken matters into their own hands this year with the arrival of shadPS4.

Thanks to the PlayStation 4 emulator, Bloodborne can officially be played on PC and although there are a few minor issues, the game can be played from beginning to end without any major problems.
Now it seems as though this is just the beginning for the Bloodborne modding community as modder Giorma has used AI tools in order to create the HD Texture Pack.
As you can probably guess, the HD Texture Pack aims to overhaul most of the game’s textures and considering it is 10GB to download, it will be a hefty improvement.
By upscaling the original textures, Giorma has been able to retain the art of the original Bloodborne while also giving it a modern upgrade.

Not only that but they also plan to upscale all of the game’s weapons in a future update.
Even better?
This mod is compatible with shadPS4 so you can boot up Bloodborne on PC with upscaled textures.
Who would have thought the time was finally here?

With Bloodborne now accessible on PC at 4K and 60FPS, we could see demands for an official remaster to die down.
However, with such a large and dedicated fanbase, it would be silly for FromSoftware not to take advantage of the demands despite still riding the high from Elden Ring and its recent Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
In other Bloodborne news, it seems as though it will be getting a remaster.
The catch? It will only be available on the upcoming (and very expensive) PlayStation 5 Pro.
