Bloodborne fans losing it over ‘awesome’ new game

It looks bloody awesome!

Bloodborne fans are absolutely losing it over an awesome new game that we could consider to be somewhat of a spiritual successor.

It’s a tough task choosing what game is the best from famed developer FromSoftware putting out bangers such as Bloodborne, Dark Souls II, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and much more over the years.

Check out The Duskbloods trailer below!

Originally released in 2015, we’ve recently celebrated the 10th anniversary for the release of Bloodborne on PlayStation 4. As such, many fans believe that 2025 would be the perfect year to announce Bloodborne 2 but alas, we’re still kept waiting.

Of course, we still have many months left for Bloodborne 2 to be announced at some point this year but I wouldn't recommend holding your breath. However, next year, we might be getting the next best thing.

Announced during the Nintendo Direct event dedicated to the Switch 2, we were treated to the first trailer for FromSoftware’s new game, The Duskbloods, a multiplayer game that looks a lot like Bloodborne.

As you might expect, fans are hyped to play The Duskbloods, a game that at least for now, is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.

“How does this game NOT look awesome?” asks Redditor comicallylargegun, sharing some of the lush screenshots taken from its reveal trailer.

“The game looks awesome, that's why I'm disappointed that it’s not the kind of game that I like to play,” replied PilotIntelligent8906, alluding to The Duskbloods being a PvP game.

“It's only not awesome because it's a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive,” said Alarrian.

“I can't wait to watch the deep dives explaining how the lore justifies the jetpacks and dinosaurs,” ArcTray_07 responded.

Hopefully, The Duskbloods will be a timed exclusive, because the more FromSoftware fans get to play this game, the better in my opinion.

We’ll keep you posted if The Duskbloods gets announced for any other platforms. But saying that, Bloodborne has remained a PlayStation exclusive for 10 years (and counting).
