Palworld has seen some amazing success in its short time since release and despite player numbers decreasing, the developer is still pushing full steam ahead on new content for the survival game.
Hot on the heels of the previous update which introduced the game’s first raid, we now have a new trailer introducing some new pals and two new weapons.
Palworld is continuing with updates while following their roadmap
The trailer which can be viewed on YouTube shows off four new pals. We don’t have the names for them yet, but we get to see a large green frog in a martial arts outfit and a tall bird with an extravagant headpiece and stately-looking wings.

As the trailer continues we’re introduced to a shadowy black and white creature wearing red robes who can levitate so we might be looking at a psychic pal. Then, lastly, a small, skinny, green dinosaur with a mushroom cap on its head.
After this flashy look at the new pals we see the player character wielding two new weapons, the first is a flamethrower that has a surprisingly long reach. The other seems to be an energy weapon that acts like a shotgun.
More will likely come with this update which is due to drop in the summer. Pocket Pair has previously discussed the PvP arena which could come soon and the company is following their roadmap closely.
Still to come on the Palworld roadmap is cross-play between Steam and Xbox, new islands and bosses, as well as extra raid bosses and end game content.

Upon release Palworld took the world by storm and began breaking records left, right, and centre. While the game is still popular, many players left Palworld behind but updates such as this will likely bring them back to check out new pals.
