GTA VI fans are getting annoyed over trailer two, rather than excited. You know what, we get it.
Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI way back in December 2023. Since then, there has been nothing but rumours and hearsay about when the next trailer would drop.
Considering GTA VI is set to be one of the most anticipated games of this generation, fans are understandably waiting with bated breath to get any new nuggets of info.

This has led to some frustration within the Grand Theft Auto community. While fans are still excited about the game, Rockstar’s silence is starting to rile some feathers.
Yep, that's right - all we've really had so far is this trailer.
“Is it just me who’s not 'anticipating’ but rather 'annoyed'?” writes one post over on the GTA VI Reddit page.

“15 months with not even a screenshot. They act like they’re guarding Area 51 with all this secrecy, there’s no reason for them not to give a screenshot of one single thing in the game. I think Rockstar is becoming full of themselves with the cash cow they’ve become.”
Many replies in the post echoed the original poster’s thoughts.
“It still genuinely baffles me not even f***ing screenshots yet,” wrote one comment.
“Zelnick saying they're balancing the excitement from new information with the anticipation from their silence got a chuckle out of me,” wrote another comment. “They're not doing a good job balancing that at all, it's 99% silence and agony.”

“They've been full of themselves ever since they started shutting down modders and starting GTA Online,” a third comment wrote. “They used to be really into helping and encouraging fans. They sent me a massive San Andreas care package before the release with all of the promo items and a hand written with compliments note. Doubt they’d do that anymore.”
Given the circumstances, you have to wonder what’s delaying Rockstar from releasing a new trailer or announcing a narrower release window.
GTA VI is supposedly launching this year, but with eight months left in 2025, that announcement shouldn’t be far off. Perhaps we’ll find out more as we approach summer.
