GTA 6 to wait a little longer as Rockstar plans surprise release

Here we go again

You see that image of GTA VI’s Lucia above? You see how exasperated she is? Maybe a little fed up.

I imagine that’s the face of every Grand Theft Auto fan whenever Rockstar Games is mentioned, and it’s not in the same sentence as the words ‘GTA VI second trailer.’

GTA Online still thrives and brings in millions for Rockstar Games

You see, the first trailer for GTA VI dropped so long ago, it feels like a distant memory - all anyone wants is a second trailer - us more than anyone, have you seen how many times we’ve used the same images in articles?

Instead, it feels like Rockstar Games is doing everything except releasing the trailer, as it’s now rumoured that GTA V is getting a new lease of life on Xbox Game Pass later this month.

According to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, the blockbuster hit will be making its way to Xbox Game Pass for subscribers to enjoy.

You might be thinking, well, big deal, it’s been on there before.

However, this is the first time the game has come to Game Pass of PC, allowing new players a chance to explore, and cause all kinds of mayhem.

The original leak comes from Twitter, where the owner of a community page was sent the heads-up from Rockstar Games that the game is heading to the service.

“Read that as GTA 6 and nearly got excited there,” said one fan on Reddit.

Nah, not quite, not yet. Maybe soon? Can you tell I’m practically begging for more information?

GTA VI is forecast to be the biggest game ever released, coming this year, and we know very little officially.

There’s sure to be a big blowout of news soon, but for now, we’ll have to make do with playing GTA V again, and hanging out with our mates in GTA Online.
