Those who simply can’t wait for Grand Theft Auto VI have gotten themselves worked up about some details included in a recent “leak” that apparently comes directly from Rockstar Games themselves.
As spotted by one user over on the r/GTA6 subreddit, a recent post from someone who claims to have “worked on GTA 6 for less than a year” revealed some specific details about how NPCs and events in the game will function.
The poster promised that “certain teams focused on “seasonal” or “event-based” NPCs” and that there will also be “in-game events and concerts where tourists wear branded t-shirts, mirroring real-life event culture.”

Sounds exciting, right? Well, the commenters seem to agree.
“Inject this into my veins,” commented user jjdogj1.
“Concerts would be sick af, imagine a Rolling Loud type event at R*'s version of Hard Rock Stadium,” replied user Interesting-Air6429.
Here’s the issue: that post is fake.

Look, I’m not gonna pretend I was the first to realise this, as multiple people in the comments stated the exact same thing, but that’s the most AI-crafted post I’ve ever seen in my life.
All the dashes and the weirdly detached tone it’s written in are the main giveaway, but the YouTube channels that the post states Rockstar Games used as “reference” don’t actually exist.
I think that’s just a classic case of ChatGPT smushing some other info together and accidentally coming up with something new.
That being said, a lot of the info is vague enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if it does end up being true. Rockstar Games has always been at the forefront of NPC AI, so I can totally see Grand Theft Auto VI featuring big old concerts and events.

Just don’t circle back to this post and assume that the poster in question was the real deal because it featured information that’s broad enough to potentially be correct anyway.
