Those looking forward to Grand Theft Auto VI just can’t stop making up random dates that a second trailer will drop on, and then getting disappointed at Rockstar Games when it obviously doesn’t pan out.
The most recent theorised date for a new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer has come and passed… and you probably will be unsurprised to learn that nothing came of it.
The latest theory, admittedly, had a bit more merit to it than a few of the last ones.

The short of it is that someone on Reddit named ZestycloseAd6898 obsessively commented the date "25 03 25" on hundreds of posts, claiming to have some kind of insider knowledge about GTA VI's development.
Now this in itself wasn’t really newsworthy… that is until Game Informer, the formerly defunct gaming publication, announced that they would be holding some kind of big reveal on March 25.
Well, turns out ZestycloseAd6898 was full of it, and Game Informer’s big news was that they have returned. Nothing GTA VI related in the slightest.
That’s not stopping fans over on the r/GTA6 subreddit from cooking up new theories, but it seems a good chunk of the community has had enough of the antics.

In a thread poking fun at the lack of reveal yesterday, most of the comments are from those who are feeling exasperated with how the community has been acting.
“I was having fun with all the theories until the 27 one when people got legitimately angry at Rockstar over it. Like, angry,” commented user Ich_Liegen.
“I thought we were all just having fun theorising like a janky makeshift ARG. Turns out no, this is life or death for some people.”
"The most accurate post I’ve seen on here for months," replied user LionHeartedLXVI.

"Everytime you point it out, they just rage at you like a toddler having a tantrum."
Still, the current April 1 theory is pretty funny at least. People are going to be fooled by some GTA VI news on that day regardless.
