Fans have been piecing together a map for GTA VI in the hopes of seeing what the open-world may look like. The project has taken information obtained in the leak from 2022 and slapped it together with the wealth of details we got from the trailer and any associated conversations.
The result is an enormous map of a large mainland with an archipelago off the eastern coast, with a few larger islands even further to the east. It’s an impressive project that has fans on Reddit excited.
You just can't keep the speculation down when it comes to GTA VI.
How accurate the map will be is hard to say. One Redditor commented in response to the islands on the eastern edge saying, “RDR2 had a section in the game that broke off from the main map so it wouldn't surprise me if they did something similar in GTA VI.” For many, this map just makes them more excited to play the game knowing that the real map will be filled with details. One fan said, “Just imagine all the secrets to explore, all the places to visit.”

If we take a look at the map, we can see that there’s a lot of water, which shouldn’t be a surprise as it’s based on Miami, but it’s what we’ll get to do in that open space that has people talking, “I was always fascinated by the idea of not only having a real Bermuda Triangle in a GTA game but a little Cuban-inspired island.”
Of course, this is all speculation, but given how Rockstar Games love to use real world inspiration, much of the fan’s creation could pan out to be accurate when GTA VI launches. While fans are quick not to get their hopes up, one user reminds us, “The mapping project of GTA V was extremely accurate so big chance the map will look a lot like this.” Consider us excited.
