If you know the meme of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s Charlie Kelly standing by a conspiracy pin board explaining why Pepe Silvia doesn’t exist, that’s a solid reflection of how I look in relation to this particular topic.
Two years ago, PlayStation launched its ‘Live from PS5’ campaign exclusively featuring clips from PlayStation 5 exclusive titles.
It included the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon Forbidden West, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

What it also featured though is a glimpse of a title that, to this day, remains an unannounced mystery.
In the marketing trailer, a young woman can be seen walking through a cave with a flame-lit torch in hand; eventually, she unearths a treasure.
Ever since this clip surfaced, I’ve been convinced that it’s something to do with Uncharted and I’m not alone.
Naughty Dog is working on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
The woman, although shrouded in shadow, looks pretty young with hair on the fairer side, so many of us Uncharted fans have been assuming that this is an older version of Cassie, Nate’s daughter.

The only problem is that absolutely nothing has been linked to this clip since it dropped.
No studio has been confirmed to be working on an Uncharted release, nor any new action-adventure IP for that matter.

Yet Sony was confident enough that this project would see the light of day eventually that they dropped a tease two years ago.
It’s baffling.
My personal theory is that it could be the third project Naughty Dog is supposedly working on.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is Naughty Dog’s next project, and The Last of Us Part III is reportedly in the works according to insiders despite Neil Druckmann’s constant denials.

It’s also believed though that another project is in the works that’s being led by Shaun Escayg who directed Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
Apparently, the title has been in development for three years, which would fit with Sony dropping this clip two years ago.
I am, like Charlie Kelly, speculating though.
I’m not alone in my obsession with this topic, however.

Let’s just hope it’s addressed eventually, because I will not stop yapping about my theory until then.
