Walton Goggins, the man behind Cooper “The Ghoul” Howard, has revealed his upcoming expectations for the second season of Amazon’s Fallout TV show, and fans were more than happy to hear about what he had to say.
In a recent red carpet interview with Deadline, Goggins spilled his thoughts on the next season of Fallout, revealing that, when compared to the first season, season 2 “blows it out of the water.”
“We're in the middle of filming it right now... We've been at it since Novermber, and I can tell you that I thought season 1 was extraordinary, personally. I was very pleased with it,” Goggins told Deadline.

“[Season 2] blows it out of the water. What these writers have done, the artisans that have come together to tell the story... it's really going to be something."
Fans in the comments of Deadline’s Twitter post are clearly equally as thrilled as Goggins.
“I can’t wait either!” commented user @johnnyarcher, “What an incredible series from just 1 season so far! Stellar cast, visuals, crew, all of it.”
“We still don't appreciate Walter Goggins enough,” replied user @MrFrankTorres, “Just great at what he does.”

Honestly, Goggins' praise sets some incredibly high expectations for the show, considering how well-received the previous season was.
Season 1 of Fallout is currently sitting at a 94% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, and it has an IMDb rating of 8.3/10 to boot.
Given how popular the first season was, I wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon are investing a lot of resources into making sure the second season hits the mark too - but I think most of us would be more than happy if it maintains the level of quality from the first season.
But, if it manages to exceed them? Well, I think it would be pretty fair to say that Fallout might go down as the number one video game adaptation of all time.
