Ubisoft has just released the new 1.5.1 update for their most recent Assassin’s Creed title Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and it has introduced a whole lot more into the game.
Alongside the usual bug fixes and balancing issues, developer Ubisoft have also added a couple of new features to the game. From 21 April to 12 May there will be a limited time in-game event called the Ostara Festival. Activities completed during the festival will result in all-new weapons and rewards which can be claimed. New rewards would also be able to be claimed during River Raids which have been set to make their return.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you can see it for yourself in our gameplay video below.
The largest inclusion in the update is the Mastery Challenge Pack 2. The new challenge pack includes added boss fights with rewards for overcoming the challenge. Prizes for completing different tasks from the update include new armour, weaponry, tattoos, and settlement cosmetics.

The part of the new information which we are most excited about is the inclusion of an armoury. After players install this update they will have access to an armoury with a number of mannequins where they can display and store a variety of armour and weapon sets.
Aside from being able to see your armour in all its glory, rather than holed up in a menu screen, the update has another benefit. Players can fit out each mannequin with a unique armour and weapon set which can provide players with easy access to their builds optimised for different enemy types.
Ubisoft has also promised the 1.5.2 update patch in May which will be followed by the integration of this new armoury into the game. So while it will be a few more weeks before we can enjoy the armoury, it looks worth the wait.
