2015's Assassins' Creed Syndicate isn't exactly remembered as Ubisoft's finest work, but it's definitely a fun chapter in the series that's well worth checking out if you ever have the time to spare.
Unfortunately, the Victorian Assassin's Creed adventure has been a bit of a mess on PlayStation 5 ever since the new-gen console launched back in 2020. For whatever reason, it's one of the few PS4 games that doesn't want to run properly, with some pretty nasty visual glitches that make the PS5 the worst place to play the game.
Given that Assassin's Creed Syndicate is now seven years old, many had assumed that Ubisoft would never bother working on a fix for the game on PS5. But with a handful of classic Assassin's Creed games making their way to PlayStation Plus Extra, it looks like a solution may be on the horizon.

As spotted by ResetEra (via Push Square), a Ubisoft Support message confirms it's aware of the issues in Assassin's Creed Syndicate and are working to fix them as soon as possible. A spokesperson added that there are no scheduled updates just yet, but encouraged fans to keep an eye out for news.
While Assassin's Creed Syndicate isn't usually regarded as up there with entries like Assassin's Creed II, Black Flag, and Origins, it's a fun experience with some genuinely stunning-looking parkour, two great protagonists, and a meticulously designed open world. If you're looking for a classic Assassin's Creed experience, this is definitely one you should go back to. Just be aware that the ending is thoroughly terrible in a way we never could have prepared for back in 2015.
