You can currently snag three unique freebies for Ubisoft’s latest title Assassin's Creed Shadows, but you’re gonna have to put in some work if you want to earn them.
So, three different items can currently be earned through Twitch for Assassin's Creed Shadows; the Spirit Headband, the Spirit Kosode, and the Oath Tanto.
These Naoe-exclusive items can be obtained from March 18 to March 25, at which point they’ll assumedly disappear forever.

However, snagging these isn’t as simple as heading on over to Twitch and clicking a button. Oh no, you’re going to have to do something truly awful if you want to get your hands on these; you’ll have to engage with streamers.
So first, you gotta link your Ubisoft account to your Twitch profile. Then you have to saunter over to the "Drops Enabled" tag once you've done so.
From here you’ll be shown a list of streamers who will be playing through Assassin's Creed Shadows. You’ll have to watch these streams for a combined four hours to earn all three items.
In theory, this is kind of a cool idea. However, players in a thread over on the r/AssassinsCreedShadows immediately realised that, in practice, this idea is actually sort of stupid.

“Well, they're giving out a whole cool costume. I didn't want to, but it looks like I'll have to watch,” commented user crangertagert.
“I hate the whole idea about drops,” replied user shinouta.
“That being said, I guess I'll be spoiling myself because I like eye candy for my characters.”
Yeah, you’re probably going to get something spoiled for you if you haven’t started playing Assassin's Creed Shadows yet.

As others in the thread have noted though, you could always just open the stream, mute it and minimise it. As long as it doesn’t pause, you’ll be able to earn the rewards that way.
Just make sure you do all of this in the next five days though, because there’s no indication that these items will return in the future.
