Assassin's Creed fans looking to claim a free download for Assassin's Creed Shadows ahead of launch have found themselves more than a little confused.
Set to release on 20 March after multiple delays, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the next instalment in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series, and based on my preview time with the game earlier this year, you guys are in for a treat.
"I haven’t really stopped thinking about it," I wrote in my preview. "Ubisoft has created a stunning world, and a potential new fan-favourite Assassin in Naoe. I can’t wait to dive back in and see more; even if this game doesn’t reinvent the wheel, we could still very well be looking at the best Assassin’s Creed since Origins."

Fans looking to get a little something extra before the game's release date can, thanks to a team-up between Ubisoft and Red Bull.
Through this collab, players will be able to get their hands on a number of in-game items which can be redeemed and used on your adventure.
If you don't mind completely breaking the immersion, you can grab a Red Bull Medalion Trinket which can be used for Naoe and will grant +3% affliction buildup on enemies above half health. Yasuke can use the Red Bull Wooden Plaque Trinket, which restores 2% health on dodge.
To grab them, all you have to do is take part in a quick quiz, which many fans have done. However, some are concerned they haven't actually received anything for their time yet.

One fan writes on the AC Shadows subreddit: "I haven’t gotten any form of email from Red Bull and I’ve completed this quiz multiple times and submitted multiple different emails and I didn’t get any form or response from Red Bull."
Others in the thread have shared similar experiences, though it's unlikely to be a major issue. If I had to guess, Red Bull will simply send these codes out closer to the game's release - though I can see why a complete lack of reply has some fans worried and confused.
