The Harry Potter franchise is one of the most popular forms of entertainment on the planet whether it be novels, movies or video games and fans cannot get enough of its Wizarding World.
When Hogwarts Legacy was released earlier this year, it gave fans an opportunity to live the wizarding fantasy life like never before. This fantasy RPG had the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry free to explore as well as its surrounding areas including the Hogsmeade Village and more.

Set during the 1890s, Hogwarts Legacy saw you enter the school as a fifth-year student to the surprise of your peers and tutors. Hogwarts Legacy was certainly well received by critics and fans alike, earning scores as high as 85 on aggregate websites such as Metacritic.

However, if there was one exclusion from Hogwarts Legacy that fans were disappointed not to see was the fantasy sport of Quidditch. Sure, you could still ride on broomsticks in the game, but as far as competing in a game of Quidditch, that was sadly a no-go. So when Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions was announced in April this year, it was enough to excite fans.
At this time, publisher Warner Bros. Games has only released a CGI trailer and no gameplay has been released into the wild, well, at least officially. Closed beta tests are taking place right now for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and if you take part in such tests, you must usually sign an NDA promising not to reveal details, screenshots or gameplay. Yet, as we’re all aware, there’s usually at least one naughty so-and-so that breaks the NDA agreement and as such, gameplay for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions has previously leaked online.
That being said, as shared by Reddit user Gtorrnet, recent gameplay for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions has leaked and it’s left some Hogwarts Legacy fans feeling wary of the new Harry Potter game. Sadly, that gameplay has been pulled, but that’s not to say that we can’t gather comments from the community.
“If it isn't free-to-play, it's going to flop, like 99% of paid multiplayer-only games that came out in the last 5 years,” exclaimed aRandomBlock. At this time, Warner Bros. Games hasn't confirmed whether Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be F2P, but we do know that it will be a standalone game for PC and consoles. “I can already smell the microtransactions,” said OGBladeRunner. “Looks a bit boring to me,” replied FinalChargerSRT392.
