The box art for Activision's upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 just leaked, and you might want to start deleting some space on that hard drive ASAP.
The Twitter account @charlieINTEL recently posted that some (sort of) lucky so-and-so received a physical copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, more than two weeks ahead of its official launch on the 25th of October.
Unfortunately for whoever got this copy early, it seems that the disc version requires you to authenticate the game online before you can actually play it. This means that even the single player content is currently locked out, so we won't be seeing any leaks from the campaign any time soon.

The early copy has provided us with some insights into the game however, with the most important one being its massive, ridiculously bloated file size.
According to the box art for the Xbox One version of the game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require a "minimum 137GB" of space to install. The "minimum" part of that is scary in itself, because assumedly it doesn't include the day 1 patch.
It seems PlayStation users might be in for even more of a struggle too, as an unconfirmed leak of the PS5 box art of the game says that that version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require a minimum of 145GB of space. Sheesh.
Of course this is all pretty standard fare for a Call of Duty game.

Anyone who tried to install Call of Duty: Warzone back in 2023 will remember having to delete basically everything except the operating system off of their computers in a bid to find space for the ludicrously huge 280GB+ install.
They really ought to just start bundling Call of Duty games with an external SSD or something.
