Activision’s latest Call of Duty title Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is hitting store shelves on October 25th 2024, and it’ll be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
As previously announced, there will be two separate beta tests for the game, but you’ll have to jump through some hoops to get access to the first one.

That is of course, unless you have access to Comcast’s Xfinity Rewards program.

The first open beta for the game will run from the 30th of August until the 4th of September, and if you want to take part you’ll either have to be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber or you’ll have to pre-order the game beforehand.
As seemingly first noticed by the Wario64 Twitter account (assumedly they have no affiliation with the Nintendo character of the same name), those who are Xfinity Rewards members may have already been granted access to a code to the beta.
To clarify, this doesn’t mean you’ll be able to jump in and play the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta right now, but rather that you’ll be the first to be actually granted access to the beta when it kicks off on the 30th of August.
As others have pointed out however, it seems this reward is only for Gold tier Xfinity Rewards members and above. Apologies in advance if we got any of you Silver tier members hyped for no reason.

If you’re a PlayStation user who doesn’t fancy pre-ordering and you also don’t have access to Xfinity Rewards, don’t worry - you can still play at least one of the two betas.
The second beta, that runs from the 6th to the 9th of September, will be available for free to all users, regardless of platform.
There are some extra freebies you’ll miss out on by not pre-ordering, but you can always do that after you actually, y’know, play the game.
