Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is free to download and keep for PC players thanks to developer Fatshark's latest offer through Steam.
You're still here? It's over. Go home. Go. Well, you've got until 7 November to grab the game, but given the reviews that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 got back in 2018, it's a win either way. It improved on the first Vermintide on every single front, with compelling combat that became more and more engaging with every slice and swipe and bash and bludgeon.
Levels were entrancing and evolved beyond a linear experience to embed the player and their teammates in the world, rewarding them with scrumptious loot with each outing into the abyss. If you won't take their word for it, it was nominated for three Golden Joystick Awards for PC Game of the Year, Xbox Game of the Year, and Best Co-operative game.

Of course, in the years that have passed, the number of people in the game has decreased to about 3,000 to 4,000 players on average, but this promotion should see veteran Warhammer fans and fresh faces onto the battlefield.
You are also able to snag the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Starter Bundle, containing the popular mission DLCs Shadows over Bögenhafen and Back to Ubersreik and the Forgotten Relics weapon pack for a tidy 33% discount on its original price. And, if you realise that time is a social construct and Christmas can come as early as you like, the Content Bundle is more than half off and offers two careers, those aforementioned mission DLCs, and the Winds of Magic Expansion. That's a lotta Warhammer.
