Perhaps considered to be one of the most under-appreciated Star Wars movies, the Revenge of the Sith is getting a new release.
Originally released in 2005, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith had a tough time following its two previous prequels, The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) and Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) aren't the most well-received Star Wars movies of the franchise but much like Revenge of the Sith, it feels like a lot of fans are showing them more appreciation nowadays.

Even I can remember not being too fond of the first two prequels but over the last decade or so, I’ve rewatched them all quite a lot and they’re nowhere near as bad as I remembered. However, I’m still not overly keen on The Phantom Menace, it has to be said.
If you want to show some well-earned love for Revenge of the Sith, now is your chance because it’s getting a new cinematic release to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
“To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the premiere of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the final film in the prequel trilogy, Episode III will be re-released in theatres on April 25, 2025, running in select U.S. theatres and international territories for one week only,” reads a post on StarWars.com.
Reacting to a Twitter post from DiscussingFilm, it’s clear that many Star Wars fans are hyped to watch Revenge of the Sith at the cinema in a couple of months.
