A new Star Wars series is on the way, which will take fans into a new prequel era, showcasing Jedi at the height of their powers.
The Star Wars universe is constantly evolving and expanding, particularly since the Disney buyout and with Marvel Comics now expanding the franchise's lore and canon.
ICYMI: Andor is back in April.
Star Wars: Jedi Knights debuted this month from Marvel, and it seems to be the start of something big, focusing on the action-packed battles of Jedi across the galaxy.

While it appears to be a great new direction for fans to learn more about this time for the Jedi order, fans over on Reddit seem split on the concept.
The first issue gives us a new story featuring Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Mace Windu, but for some, this is an all too familiar sight.
“I love Star Wars so much. But goddamn am I sick of these characters and time period,” said turok_U254.
Showing the flip side of the coin, Underdog424 comments, “I'm going to read it. I haven't enjoyed anything from Star Wars in a long time. But I loved the books and comics growing up.”

Star Wars tends to focus on a few different periods of time from the universe, but the creatives go back to the well of the most popular times rather often.
Some would prefer the Old Republic to be explored in new ways, or for Marvel and Disney to give us stories from the High Republic era.
“I want actual Old Republic era, though. At least go back to a point where f**king Yoda isn't alive,” explains one Redditor.
The new series could be a long-running feature, taking fans through different battles, but you have to wonder how much is left in the tank for this era of Star Wars.
