Star Wars fans are going back to the Clone Wars in a new game by Electronic Arts, and it looks pretty interesting.
It’s safe to say the golden age of Star Wars games has long past, with bangers like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and OG Star Wars Battlefront games just not being made anymore.
That said I thought Star Wars Outlaws was a step in the right direction, with a good mix of world design and engaging gameplay
Star Wars Zero Company could also be worth consideration, a brand-new tactical turn-based game that was announced yesterday by Bit Reactor and Electronic Arts.

Very little is known about the game at the time of writing, but it’s been promised we’ll learn more through a panel at this year’s Star Wars Celebration event, in Japan.
What we do know though is it’ll obviously be turn-based and probably similar to the XCOM games in terms of gameplay.
We also know it’ll be set during the Clone Wars, and from the artwork it seems the main characters will be clones, a Jedi and a mandalorian bounty hunter.
The game’s description reads: "Recruit an unconventional team of operatives and deploy them on missions unlike any other in the galaxy far, far away in Star Wars Zero Company!"

It looks interesting, and I’m personally always keen to see more of the Clone Wars setting, there are still plenty of stories left to be told there.
The Star Wars Celebration panel showing off the game is scheduled for this Saturday, 19 April, the second day of the event.
We’ll likely see some gameplay and hear from some of the developers working on the game but it’s unknown whether a demo will be available to play on the convention floor.
Could this be another Star Wars game banger? That remains to be seen, but I’m certainly hopeful.
