Quentin Tarantino’s next project may have just been teased, and we’re quite excited by it.
Tarantino is famous for some of the most stylish and expressive films of our time, with works like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, and Django Unchained under his belt.
With a plan to stick to making only 10 films before retiring as a director, the 61-year-old filmmaker is currently working on what is allegedly his final project behind the camera.

A look at the upcoming Until Dawn film is here.
But that isn’t stopping him from pursuing other ventures outside of cinema, and thanks to a new interview, we may have heard a bit about his next project.
Speaking exclusively to film journalist Elvis Mitchell, Tarantino revealed a pivot away from the screen for his next project to write a play.

“If you’re wondering what I’m doing right now, I’m writing a play. It’s probably going to be the next thing I end up doing,” the director said during the interview.
While he didn’t reveal any details about the play, he also teased it could potentially be adapted into his last film.
“If it’s a fiasco I probably won’t turn it into a movie. But if it’s a smash hit? It might be my last movie.”
With many of his films featuring stylised violence and non-linear structures, it’d be interesting to see Tarantino’s take on the stage play and the limitations it brings when compared to the cinema.

His most recent film was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), his own take on the final days of the Golden Age of Hollywood starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Following this, his final film was going to be The Movie Critic, which would have been set in the 1970s and brought back Brad Pitt. However, it was later reported that Tarantino dropped it as his next project.
In addition to directing, Tarantino has also enjoyed a career as a writer and actor, making small cameo appearances in many of his films.
Outside of his own director work, he also wrote the scripts for True Romance and From Dusk Till Dawn.
