The What If…? comic book series has become a must-buy for Marvel fans as it aims to explore how the Marvel Universe might have turned out if key moments in history had not unfolded like they did.
Up until now, the series has explored the idea of Wanda Maximoff and Peter Parker being siblings as well as the story of Loki and Valkyrie in What If… Loki Was Worthy?
Next, author Mike Chen is set to explore a world where Marc Spector plays host to Venom.
A brief synopsis for Marvel: What If . . . Marc Spector Was Host to Venom? (A Moon Knight & Venom Story) reads as follows: “So many worlds, so little time. Infinite possibilities, creating infinite realities. Long have I watched Marc Spector cheat death in the name of the Egyptian god Khonshu. But…what if Moon Knight was subsumed by a Venom from another universe?"

The comic sees Venom take over the body of Marc Spector who is already pretty used to having voices in his head after having an Egyptian god command him as Moon Knight.
Now, he will have to deal with the iconic symbiote as an alternate-reality Marc battles with the strange alien.
However, chaos soon ensues when Marc’s lethal abilities go toe-to-toe with Venom’s thirst for violence.
Speaking about the project, author Chen said the following: “Well, I think I found a way to pull this off while telling a compelling psychological thriller AND bringing a sharp lens to the unique relationships and absurd humour involved with all of these characters.”
