Just when you think the discourse among MCU fans might stop, another fresh debate starts it right back up.
In fairness to them, Marvel is divisive by nature; one person’s favourite hero is another’s least.
Add the MCU’s interpretation of the comics into the mix and it’s unsurprising fans struggle to agree.

The latest reason for their disagree is the new Iron Man armour.
What else awaits Marvel fans?
Marvel Studios has given its followers a first glimpse of Ironheart, a new Disney+ series due to air on 24 June 2025.

For the most part, fans are excited by what they’ve seen (which isn’t much).
“Loving the clunky armour and it not being nanotech,” posted NinetyYears.
“There was something cartoonish about the first armour [...] I’m really digging this new suit. Much more grounded and real to the in-universe look,” said Autoganz,
Naturally, there are others who are displeased with the direction Ironheart is going in.

One criticism is over the lack of Tony Stark. It’s an odd reason to be annoyed, especially given the fact that Stark is dead.
User Mysterious-Ad-3004 remarked on being underwhelmed by the reveal, “I’ll have to see more, but as of right now I’m not hyped. Will still watch it though and hopefully I’m wrong.”
Hopefully you’re looking forward to seeing the new Iron Man armour in action. But in case you’re not, let’s not forget that there’s two new Phase 6 MCU movies on the way.
If the end of Phase 5 doesn’t do it for you, there’s always a new chapter in the MCU to explore instead.

With fans already heartbroken over the final two films of Phase 5, they need something positive to look forward to. Whether the positivity lasts is another matter entirely.
You might not feel the same way, but we’re intrigued about Ironheart and the new armour it showcases.
