It has been over two years since Scarlet Witch seemingly met her demise in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but it seems as though her story is far from over.
Over the past decade, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch has cemented herself as one of the most-loved characters in the Marvel universe.

Portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen, her first live-action appearance was back in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, and since then, she has starred in six films as well as taking a lead role in miniseries WandaVision back in 2021.

Her last appearance was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where many fans believe she met her demise.
However, according to a recent comment by Kevin Feige, Scarlet Witch may soon be making a return.
In recent months, Disney+ has released Agatha All Along which is set after the events of WandaVision.
Despite this, Wanda does not make an appearance but according to Rio/Death (Aubrey Plaza), Scarlet Witch is “gone”.

“I think the word ‘gone’ is important,” said Jac Schaeffer, showrunner for Agatha All Along. “I was instructed to use the word ‘gone”.”
Following on from that and in an interview with Omelete, Feige said: “We had Agatha All Along on Disney+ just now, and that series was great for us.
Since then, many questions have remained in fans’ minds about Wanda… So, all I can say is we are excited to find out when and how Scarlet Witch can return.”
As you can see, Feige doesn’t exactly go into much detail about when and where we can expect to see Scarlet Witch’s return but it is pretty evident that it is on the cards at some point.

Whether Wanda will return in the upcoming Avengers movies, the third Doctor Strange entry or even the WandaVision spin-off show, Vision, remains to be seen.
