A new teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps has got MCU fans hyped.
The new Fantastic Four reboot has been in development for many years, following the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by Disney in 2019.
Rather than continuing with the characters and world established in 2015’s Fantastic Four, the studio has opted to reboot the cast again with Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing the titular Marvel team.

MCU fans are, of course, loving the new teaser. Commenters are enjoying the poster specifically for its retro vibes and homage to the source material.
“We’re so back,” wrote one commenter.
“Interesting this seems to be back to the sort of “quilted” look that the costumes had in the original art as opposed to the costume we saw Joseph Quinn wearing in that one video,” they continued.
“Absolutely loving the costumes!” wrote another. “Bring on the authentic retro futuristic 60s vibes in every aspect of this movie.”

Set in a 1960s-style retro-futuristic Earth, The Fantastic Four: First Steps features the team’s MCU debut as they come together to defeat Galactus and the Silver Surfer.
While it seems to be mostly set in its own continuity for now, we presume the characters and setting will eventually crossover with the rest of the MCU.
Now that the multiverse has been established within the Marvel timeline, characters and universes are expected to intertwine across the rest of the saga.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled for release in cinemas on 25th July, 2025. It will also kick off Phase 6 of the MCU.
