The story of Harry Potter ended rather abruptly when you really think about it, with several characters’ fates left unspoken.
For the most part everyone involved in Harry Potter’s story got a happy ending, but still it would have been nice to learn what became of these characters after the story was over, including one of my personal favourite characters, Luna Lovegood.
Luna first appeared in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and played a vital role in later films like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Turns out Luna’s fate has been logged, and we know what became of her after the battle of Hogwarts had ended.

Author J.K Rowling had been asked what became of Luna following the story’s ending, to which she confirmed she grew up and married Newt Scamander’s grandchild Rolf, Newt of course being the protagonist of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
It makes a lot of sense considering Luna was always fond of the various magical animals and creatures, including the Thestrals which she helped Harry and his friends tame and ride for the plot.
With that in mind it’d only be natural for her to fall for Newt’s grandkid, who likely had the same passion for animals as his dear old grandad did.
If you want a deeper dive into that story fans have discussed it at length on Reddit, with one saying “As others have said, Rowling's said she became a magizoologist. Before that was a thing, I'd always imagined she was the sort of person who floated through life moving from one job or project to another, never really settling, never doing a bad job but always feeling the urge to move onto something new."

That sounds like Luna to me as well, the important thing though is she had a happy life after all that nasty Hogwarts business.
