It has been 12 years since the last Harry Potter movie was released and with seven movies coming before, it is no surprise that many fans have their favourites. However, it is not just the fans as Daniel Radcliffe himself has watched the series back, although reveals there's one movie he finds “hard to watch”.
Radcliffe was just 12-years old when he took on the role of Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. He reprised his role in all eight adaptations, allowing viewers to watch him grow up just as Harry does throughout the series.

With the cast of the first movie consisting of mere children, it is no surprise that the acting wasn’t incredible. However, as the years went on, Radcliffe alongside Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger got into the stride of acting and have gone on to have successful careers since.

However, there is one movie in particular that Radcliffe finds “hard to watch” - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Released in 2009, the movie sees Harry discover the existence of the elusive half-blood prince all whilst being tracked down by Voldemort himself… as per.
Talking to Playboy back in 2015, Radcliffe said: "In every movie up to the sixth one, you can see a big step forward in my acting. And then it stopped, or went backward maybe, in the sixth film."
"You’re watching a mistake you made every day for 11 months - that’s the way I saw it. I had the idea that Harry was like a soldier traumatised by war, and as a result of that, he shuts down emotionally. That’s not a bad idea, but it’s not the most interesting thing to watch for two and a half hours."
Despite not being proud of his performance in the sixth movie, Radcliffe still describes his time on set as “the best place on Earth”.

"I loved it from the word go," he continued. "I loved being on set. I loved the hours. I loved the people. I loved the crazy, weird s**t I got to do every day. Acting was the focus for me, and I wasn’t going to do anything to jeopardise being an actor."
