God of War fans are torn over who should play a live-action Kratos in an adaptation of the popular PlayStation series.
Since its inception in 2005, developed by Santa Monica Studio, the God of War series has been a flagship brand on PlayStation and has grown in popularity ever since. Now following the conclusion of God of War Ragnarök, fans eagerly wait for news on a potential third entry in the Norse trilogy.

While we wait for news on whether a new game will arrive after God of War Ragnarök, fans were looking forward to the live-action adaptation series from Amazon. However, that God of War series was reportedly scrapped with many hoping that it’s simply gone back to the drawing board to start anew.

Regardless of what the fate of the God of War series may be, fans have been discussing who should play the live-action Kratos and some believe that Jason Momoa, recently cast as a new character in the DCU, is the perfect choice.
“Who would you want to play Kratos in a God of War movie?” asked Redditor Material_Method_4874. “Personally, I’d choose Jason Momoa. He’s perfect for the role in my opinion.”

“He’s tall, rugged, built like a brick house. He even has a naturally angry-looking face and from his performance as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, we see his vocal range is pretty good and could probably nail Kratos’ deep voice.”
“Dave Bautista. He has the physique, and in Blade Runner 2049 he has proven that he has more dramatic acting talent than the whole Fast & Furious cast combined,” suggests Used_Duty_208.
“Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson?” replied second_last_jedi.
Many fans in the thread are also calling for Christopher Judge to reprise his role, who is of course the voice of Kratos in God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök.

Regardless of who is cast as Kratos in a God of War live-action adaptation, I just hope that it does the iconic PlayStation series the justice it deserves.
