Due to its popularity, God of War 6 feels like a given at this point.

There are a few fans who’ve even questioned whether God of War 6 should happen at all.
Redditor undermoobs believes that it’ll happen, saying, “The answer is simple. Money to be made? Yes, there will be more.”
We can't be the only ones who were overjoyed when God of War Ragnarök launched on PC

Unlike the above remark, Moxto’s only hope is that Kratos remains the protagonist. “I just hope Kratos will remain the main character and not Artreus,” they shared.
The OP who asked the original question doesn’t feel the same way though, hence us emphasising how torn the God of War community is over this game.
For them, Kratos is a character that needs to take a step back. Not completely, just enough to let other characters shine through.
“To be honest, I liked how we could play as Atreus and Kratos throughout the fifth game. I would like to see more of that. But I don't want a total abandonment of Kratos,” was their suggestion.
