Seasons may change, but the love for shooter games will never go away, especially when they have the potential to hit their stride like the Titanfall and Destiny franchises. A new Unreal Engine 5 title has recently entered chat with the potential to scratch that itch we all have, with would-be players already excited by its prospects.
Not a lot is known about Project LLL – there are a few Reddit threads from when the official teaser dropped over a year ago, but since then the news front has been quiet. From what the devs have revealed thus far, and what’s mentioned in the latest look at the game via ENFANT TERRIBLE on YouTube, the game is slated to release in 2024 on both consoles and PC.
Speaking of Destiny 2, don't forget about The Final Shape reveal trailer!
Graphically, the game looks stunning. Narratively, it has heavy undertones of Titanfall and Bungie’s Destiny, two series that, while not at their peaks anymore, are still in the minds of gamers who favour MMOs. Project LLL is said to be set across multiple locations, including “destroyed Seoul and the 10th century Byzantine Empire”.
One user who watched the gameplay demo said that this is the “most ambitious game in Unreal 5” to date, and boy oh boy, have we seen a lot of Unreal Engine 5 projects – from fan-made God of War 2 remakes to GTA VI mock-ups, it's a gaming engine that keeps on giving for both amateur and experienced devs alike.

With Destiny 2 now witnessing its lowest player count to date, now is the time for another MMO to take over and give us something new to sink our teeth into. Hopefully, as it nears the deadline, more Project LLL news will come our way. Still, it’s good to have gameplay to watch before it comes out, if for nothing else than to give us something beautiful to look at.
