CD Projekt RED has reiterated that the new The Witcher 3 DLC is on its way to all platforms with the arrival of the next-gen update for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S on 14th December.
Of course, the DLC might not be welcomed so warmly as it would have been before the chaos that the Netflix show has wrought, as it adds themed content to the acclaimed game. Almost 300,000 people have signed the petition for Henry Cavill to return to the show and change the writing team to those who are more into the original books. While Cavill's not specifically said why he's left the show, a report from a The Witcher fansite alleged that issues started to arise in season two as the actor and the producers “weren’t seeing eye to eye” with the interpretation of that the character of Geralt in the Netflix version of the story.

Well, the sentiment toward CD Projekt RED has turned so there's no reason why there can't be a renaissance for the Netflix show too. In a reply to the announcement about the next-gen update for The Witcher 3, the developer confirmed that the Netflix-themed DLC will land on all platforms for free, including the Switch.
The portable version of the game isn't a looker in the same way it will be on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, it's a very good way to play for time-poor people. I bet you'd never have believed you'd be playing one of the greatest RPGs ever made on the John, and with the power of technology, it is in your hands. Wash them after, please.
