If you wanted more content for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at no cost whatsoever, then you’re in the right place.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is widely considered to be one of the best fantasy RPGs of all time when it was first released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2015. It just goes to show how good this game is, because many jumped into the third-numbered entry without prior knowledge of the first two games.

Other than being a fantastic game in its own right, one of the best aspects of The Witcher 3, is its side-quests which in some cases, may even be better than the main campaign. Not to mention that CD Projekt RED has crafted its combat like a fine art and its open-world map of the Continent is filled with secrets waiting to be discovered.

That being said, if you’ve seen everything that the Continent has to offer or are just looking for something extra aside from the two critically acclaimed expansions, Heats of Stone and Blood and Wine, modders have you covered.
As spotted by DSOgaming, one such mod available for free via Nexusmods is ‘The Price of Neutrality - Remastered’ by Lisu. What makes this mod particularly interesting, is that it’s inspired by DLC from the original The Witcher that was released in 2007 but recreated using the modern REDKit.
“The story takes place in the year 1232. Geralt returns to Kaer Morhen for wintering. However, under the fortress, he encounters a camp of mercenaries pursuing Princess Deidre Ademeyn of Caingorn,” reads the description of the mod.
“Deidre is supposedly cursed by the Black Sun and is, in addition, the surprise child of Eskel. The witchers must decide what to do with the girl.”

Sadly, as is the nature of most mods, ‘The Price of Neutrality - Remastered’ is only available for the PC version of the game. For the rest of us, we can play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as intended on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
