If you’re a fan of The Elder Scrolls, then you won’t want to miss out on this free download but you need to act fast to avoid missing out.
The Elder Scrolls Online was initially launched in 2014 for PC before making its way to other platforms, the latest being PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. As the name of the game suggests, The Elder Scrolls Online allows you to explore the lands of Tamriel with others to embark on epic adventures.

To keep players engaged and coming back for more adventures, Bethesda developers ZeniMax Online Studios regularly update The Elder Scrolls Online with new content such as the most recent, ‘Gold Road’ event.

“Venture into Colovian West Weald and discover a region beset by the chaos of the Forgotten Prince’s return in The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road,” reads the description of the event. “Investigate the emergence of Ithelia, an all-new Daedric Prince, and create your own handmade abilities with the new Scribing system as you explore a world not seen since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.”
What’s more, players are often rewarded with new cosmetic goodies to celebrate the launch of the latest event and The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road is no exception. Right now, you can claim the ‘Sungold Thoroughbred Mount’ and unlike the infamous horse armour in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, this DLC is free.
All you have to do to claim the free ‘Sungold Thoroughbred Mount’ is sign up to Nvidia GeForce Now and according to Reddit user EphemeralRis, this can either be a free or a premium account. However, the description on the website reads “Premium Members can claim their free mount by opting into rewards and checking their email for instructions,” so it's worth keeping that in mind.
The free ‘Sungold Thoroughbred Mount’ is available to claim as of right now but the offer ends on 30 June 2024, so you might want to claim the DLC now just in case you’re like me, and you forget.
