It looks like The Elder Scrolls VI might have had a new leak, leaving fans divided about the upcoming RPG.
It’s been 11 years the last major Elder Scrolls game, and 14 years since Bethesda’s last single-player Elder Scrolls game, so fans are eager to see what the developer has been cooking.
Announced way back in 2018, The Elder Scrolls 6 hasn’t really had any meaningful updates over the years. We still don’t even know where it will be set or when it will release.

Beyond Skyrim could be the new Elder Scrolls we need while we still wait for the next official game.
Considering Bethesda was working on Starfield for much of that time, it was assumed that developers would start to move over once that was out the door.
Now, a new leak has surfaced on the internet that suggests the game will be set in Hammerfell, will be released in 2028, and will feature the return of dragons.

According to the leak, The Elder Scrolls VI will also feature “13 major cities” with the smallest city being about the size of Whiterun in Skyrim, and the largest being six times that size.
Naturally, fans are skeptical about this leak. Considering it came from 4chan, that also lends doubt to the credibility of the rumour.
“If it is true, pretty much all that sounds good,” wrote one comment. “A city six times the size of Whiterun Is something I expect but it would show that cities this time around are gonna be bigger and more populated.”
“Disappointed that it ain't Hammerfell and High Rock combined,” another comment wrote.

“It reads like a wishlist of what people have been theory crafting about for a while now,” a third comment wrote.
As always, remember not to take these rumours and leaks at face value.
They could turn out to be true or they could be false, so a pinch of salt is always a good idea when it comes to reading them.
One thing is for certain though, the long wait for The Elder Scrolls VI is only going to cause more speculation and stir within the community.

Hopefully Bethesda can reveal its plans for the series in the near future.
