Who else is on a major Star Wars kick right now? I certainly am. The Mandalorian’s third season was excellent. I’m super hyped for the Rey film announced at Star Wars Celebration, plus Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out and it’s an absolute banger.
Well, that’s the case if you’re playing on consoles. It’s a completely different story for PC players who have faced a myriad of bugs and glitches. Jedi: Survivor’s director revealed that they could’ve delayed the game further to iron these issues out, but decided against it to avoid competition. One game-breaking boss can steal all of your XP, but patches are being rolled out rapidly by Respawn to rectify these issues. If there’s one thing fans agree on, it’s that Turgle is the best character. Today though, I bring you news of a potential new Star Wars project courtesy of Jon Favreau.
Ahsoka premieres in August. Take a look at the trailer below.
When I say Favreau’s name, the rapidly expanding ‘Mandoverse’ may spring to mind, but it appears as if Favreau has lofty Star Wars ambitions beyond that. As reported by Dexerto, Favreau, alongside Dave Filoni, has made it clear that he’s interested in the Legends stories and characters - particularly bringing them back into the main canonical fold.

For those who are unaware, Legends essentially refers to expanded universe content that’s not classed as part of the official cannon. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Favreau previously said, “When I was younger, we didn't have movies, but there were comic books, there were novels, things that are encompassed in the [expanded universe] or Legends. Clearly, there are decisions that have to be made to fit it all together, but for us, I think one thing we're in agreement about is that the characters - as special as they are - the story has to drive what characters are."
One hugely popular non-canonical Legends property is LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. For years, fans have been desperate to see Starkiller brought into the main Star Wars fold. Villain Thrawn is getting his time in the spotlight in the upcoming Ahsoka. Surely Starkiller’s appearance is only a matter of time, we hope so anyway.
