If you thought that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would die anytime soon, then think again because this fan-made content adds a batch of fancy new items.
Considering that Skyrim was first released in 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, you’d think that the love for this fantasy game would have slowed down by now. However, to this day, this entry in The Elder Scrolls series remains one of the most popular RPGs of all time.

One of the many reasons that Skyrim remains as popular as ever (other than being a fantastic game, of course), is largely thanks to its vibrant modding community. Over the years, Skyrim modders have added new quests, and characters, upgraded the visuals and performance, and fixed many Bethesda bugs.

A mod that is worth your attention today, especially if you’re looking to breathe new life into this nearly 14-year-old RPG is one called ‘Thalmor Ceykynd Armors’ created by PrincessAries and AriesThe_Ram. Best of all, it’s free to download today via Nexusmods.
As the name of the mod suggests, it adds new armour inspired by a villainous group of Tamriel known as the Thalmor. Furthermore, it even adds new weapons, enemies and two new loading screens to your game of Skyrim.
“The armour and its variants are on par with ebony. While the dagger and sword both do slightly more crit damage than their Ebony counterparts. You'll find the armour on Thalmor Ceykynd or by crafting it with the Ebony Smithing perk,” reads the description of the mod.
“The Ceykynd should be injected into the Thalmor soldier enemy list and should start spawning after level 20. Elenwen has one as a personal bodyguard and another will ambush you in her quarters during Diplomatic Immunity.”

Usually, most mods are PC exclusive but with the Xbox version of Skyrim being supported by Bethesda’s Creation Club, it’s also available on console. Details on how and where to download the Xbox mod can be found just above the credits section on the Nexusmods page.
