Red Dead Redemption 2 fans need to grab free Halloween bonuses in its latest free mode before it’s too late.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is considered to be one of the best video games of all time and with a Metacritic score of 97, it’s difficult to argue against that statement. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 launched six years ago and even for a game as huge as this, a lot of gamers would have seen most of what the Rockstar Games Western has to offer.

That being said, as long as you’re willing to search for secrets in Red Dead Redemption 2, we can promise there will be loads of details you’ve missed such as this hidden bunker or this blood-thirsty vampire.

Thankfully, outside of the robust single-player campaign, you can also get involved with some multiplayer shenanigans in Red Dead Online, a free game that came bundled with copies of Red Dead Redemption 2.
“Step into the vibrant, ever-evolving world of Red Dead Online and experience life in frontier America,” reads the description of the game. “Chase down bounties, battle outlaw gangs and other players, hunt, fish and trade, search for exotic treasures, run Moonshine, and much more to discover in a world of astounding depth and detail.”

Right now in Red Dead Online, you can take part in its free Halloween event which rewards you with double XP, in-game currency, DLC and more. Each week, until 4 November 2024, players can earn new rewards on rotation just by playing the game.
In the new ‘Featured Series’, you can slay hordes of undead zombies in the ‘Hardcore Dead of Night’ mode, which will be a treat for fans of the popular Undead Nightmare expansion. By taking part in this mode, you will be rewarded with double XP and double RDO$ from 22 October to 28 October 2024.
What’s more, players will receive a free in-game black Folwell Hat (sadly, not in real life) simply by logging into Red Dead Online.
