Grab this freebie while you can

If you’re a fan of Pokémon, then I am most definitely certain that you’ll be aware that this year’s World Championship is currently underway.

The 2024 edition of the annual event is currently being held in the stunningly beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii, and I recommend you hop over to GAMINGbible’s Instagram account to see all of the latest Worlds content from our eyes on the ground.

Before you do that though, allow me to fill you in on a delightful freebie that’s been dropped to celebrate the occasion.

Pokémon GO players can now download a free 2024 Worlds Tee avatar.

“Thanks for tuning in to our Pokémon GO World Championship live stream, Trainers,” the Pokèmon GO Twitter account wrote.

“If you haven’t spotted it yet, here’s a code for a free 2024 Worlds Tee avatar item as a way of saying thanks.”

ICYMI: Pokémon Legends Z-A launches in 2025. Take a look at the game’s first trailer below.

If you’re interested in downloading the avatar, the code is as follows: A6NEWU63K9AU8.

That’s a global code so it should work across all territories.

The avatar tee features the branding of this year’s Worlds which, if you haven't yet seen, is Pikachu donning some cute scuba gear.

To redeem the code, just head to the Pokémon GO web store.

This year’s World Championship has also granted us our first look at Pokémon TCG Pocket in action, a new mobile game due to debut later this year.

If you like the real life trading card game, I can already promise you that you’re going to love Pokémon TCG Pocket.

From the brief hands-on we’ve had with the app, we’re already blown away.

Just take a look at the stunning Pikachu ex immersive artwork below.

Of course, Pokémon fans are also counting down to the launch of Pokémon Legends Z-A next year.

Given that it was teased to launch on “Nintendo systems”, we may be looking at a Nintendo Switch 2 launch title.
