PlayStation Plus’ newest free downloads will save gamers ‘a small fortune’ that even Nathan Drake would be proud of.
The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2023 includes some absolute bangers. The line-up features Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Riders Republic, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and more.
In fact, it’s also very Bethesda-heavy, considering the company is owned by Microsoft, making much of the inclusions, Xbox first-party games. Those particular games include DOOM Eternal, Wolfenstein II: The New Order, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition to name but a few.
Subscribing to either PS Plus Extra or Premium, not to mention the Essential tier, can save you quite a bit of money in the long run. Sure, we all like to buy the biggest releases at launch. However, it’s proven that if you hold your nerve, pretty much all games end up being discounted at some point. Better still, they might end up on PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass.

“I've been learning that if I would just have some self-control most games I buy would come to this service…,” said the patient JackTheBoss. “Yup. It's saved me a small fortune in the last year or 2 alone,” replied Thescottishguy87 once more.
This is not the first time that fans have praised this month's PlayStation Plus offerings. Earlier in the month, subscribers labelled the April 2023 line-up as the best so far this year. One particular standout game is the charming Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
On Metacritic, Kena: Bridge of Spirits earned a very respectable score of 8.5 from users on PlayStation 5, with Jond7699 saying that the game is: “Probably one of the best of the year so far and that’s not hyperbole.”
