With rumours that the PlayStation 6 is coming a lot sooner than we think, fans are already eager to learn what titles will be arriving alongside it and it seems one has already been announced.
It has been almost 4-years since the PlayStation 5 was first released and with the PS5 set to follow suit later this year, it is only a matter of time before the next Sony console makes its way onto the market.

Although a new console is already exciting, its suspected titles are causing even more hype. That includes an upcoming entry by none other than Hideo Kojima himself who is making a return to the action-espionage genre.

Announced during PlayStation’s State of Play event, Kojima revealed that his next project would be a "next-generation action espionage game". However, it will be a brand-new IP not connected to the Metal Gear Solid series. Sorry to disappoint you!
This title is currently titled Physint and will be the first IP for Kojima Productions since 2019’s Death Stranding. As a result, development will be in full swing for Physint after the release of Death Stranding 2. With the latter not set for release until 2025, there will still be a bit of a wait for this new project.
"Of course, [Physint] is an interactive game, but it is also a movie at the same time, in terms of look, story, theme, cast, acting, fashion and sound,” explained Kojima. “With this title, we hope to transcend the barriers between film and video games."
"It will be both a game and a movie at the same time," he continued. "Of course it will be a game. However, if your mother walks in on you playing this game, she'll think you're watching a movie. I'm not sure how far we can take it yet."

With Kojima having such big plans for his next project, it would not be surprising to see Physint be one of PlayStation 6’s first games. However with still a while to go for both the console and a new Kojima title, it still remains to be seen.
