Despite the PlayStation 5 Pro being on the horizon, it seems as though the company is not yet giving up with the PS5 which could also mean that it is trying out some new features ahead of the PlayStation 6.

One such example is the Community Game Help feature which was introduced earlier this year.
It allows players to share video and/or picture tutorials of their gameplay which could help fellow players when it comes to some of those formidable bosses in titles such as Elden Ring.
"Once you turn on the settings, your PS5 will automatically capture a video when you complete a certain activity in a game,” Sony explained.
“Then, it will be reviewed by a moderator, and if approved, your video will be published as a Game Help hint for PlayStation players to watch, learn from, and rate."

This long-awaited feature has some fans guessing that it is being tested out ahead of being implemented into the PlayStation 6.
With Sony trying to introduce much more social interaction into its consoles, it could mean the future of the PlayStation will rely a lot more on its community.
Not only that but Sony has recently worked on the real-time predictive assistance patent which uses AI to overwrite the need for an NPU (Neural Processing Unit).
This could take a lot of pressure off our GPUs and CPUs but considering the PS5 Pro is not expected to have an NPU, this technology could show up in the PS6.

With the PS5 Pro expected to arrive first, it may still be a while until we see the PlayStation 6.
However, it is exciting to see Sony working hard on improving one of the best consoles on the market.
