Free Xbox Game Pass subscriptions up for grabs now

Free pass, anyone?

Regardless of how cost effective it may be to pay for Xbox Game Pass yourself, we’ll never turn down the chance to get a free subscription.

Currently, there’s a month of Xbox Game Pass available for free, you just need some insider knowledge.

And here we are, gifting you with said knowledge so you can save some cash.

This free Xbox subscription is part of a GeForce Rewards deal.

As you’d expect with such a generous freebie, there are several terms and conditions you need to be aware of if you’re to secure your prize.

Chiefly, that you need to be a new customer.

If you’ve already paid for a PC Game Pass before, you won’t qualify, sadly. That is, unless you’re willing to create a new NVIDIA account.

Some would say it’s a lot of hassle just for a month-long freebie, but we won’t judge you if you decide to go this route.

Assuming you are a newcomer, the first step to getting your subscription is to create that NVIDIA profile.

Thereafter, you’ll want to download the GeForce Experience or NVIDIA Beta app.

In the ‘Redeem’ section of the app, your Game Pass reward should be waiting for you to claim.

The last caveat you need to be mindful of is that you’ll need a relatively new CPU; if your graphics card isn’t GTX 10 or above, you might be locked out of this offer.

We hope this news has made your weekend, and you’re now basking in the afterglow of scoring a month of free games.

But if you couldn’t activate the offer, there’s other happy news to be excited about.

Specifically, the huge comeback the Xbox 360 is making.

We thought it was all over when Microsoft called time on the 360 Marketplace, too, but it seems the fans aren’t ready to say farewell just yet.
