In case you haven’t noticed, at GAMINGbible, we’re suckers for upcoming games that mesh together features from two or more popular franchises. You get to experience something new, but with a comforting familiarity that makes you more willing to explore the unknown – it’s a win-win.
So, what if we told you that there’s a new Unreal Engine 5 title dropping later this month that marries together the mysticism and magic of The Witcher, but in a world that demands you survive the harshest trials, like in Valheim.
It's coming sooner than you think – Nightingale is headed into early access this Feb!
We hope you’re as thrilled as we are at that prospect because, when 20 February gets here, you’ll have that exact game to play thanks to Steam. Nightingale is a PVE RPG you can play solo or with friends, all that matters is you have the nerve to see it through to the end, facing countless foes, some of which come in the form of the environment itself.

“Your goal: become a skilled Realmwalker, and navigate the web of transdimensional portals. Only then can you discover your way to the magical city of Nightingale, the last known bastion of humanity.”
This Unreal Engine outing is a simple mission, not even going to break a sweat with this one(!) Okay, so there’s going to be plenty of challenges ahead, but any RPGer will agree that’s part of what makes the genre so damn good. Nobody wants to win with ease.
Nightingale will be an early access game, with that access likely lasting for several months before the game enters its final, polished phase. For those looking to join early access, you’ll only be able to do so if using a PC and not a Mac; we hate how much we have to say this, but it’s so easy to be fooled into thinking devs have finally accepted Macs.
The Unreal Engine title will launch on 20 February on Steam.
