Dave Filoni showed off a little of what’s to come for Ahsoka Season 2, in a truly iconic fashion.
There’s a lot to be excited about if you’re a Star Wars fan, and Star Wars Celebration has given us some truly iconic announcements.
One of the best so far was a new tease for The Mandalorian And Grogu, which takes place right where Season 3 left off
We’ve also had plenty of teases for Ahsoka Season 2 today from Dave Filoni himself, as a panel reflecting on the first season came with a few surprises.

For starters, Hayden Christensen will be returning as Anakin Skywalker, though how exactly remains to be seen.
It’s also been confirmed that Admiral Ackbar will play a vital role in the second season, going head-to-head with Grand Admiral Thrawn.
However, while filming for the second season is kicking off next week, and there’s obviously no footage to tease us with, Dave Filoni said he wanted to give fans something to show where the series is heading next.
What followed was a very retro-looking trailer inspired by the first teaser for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, featuring concept art ketches and a voice over.

In the art we see more of the mysterious planet Ahsoka and Sabine are trapped on at the end of the season, and even more witches from Dathomir make an appearance, one of which looks suspiciously like Asajj Ventress…
Also teased were new creatures, droids, and another face-off between Ahsoka and Baylan Skoll, who also stuck around on the planet for seemingly his own secret reasons.
It all looks really exciting, and we’ll likely know more next year when there’s actual footage to create a trailer with, for now we can only dream of what it’ll look like when it’s all tied together.
