We live in an era where our attention spans are no better than a goldfish so when it comes to gaming, it takes a lot for a title to hold our attention.
Luckily, this upcoming release has you covered by allowing you to play the game whilst getting on with other things in the background.
Whimside is yet another cosy game arriving to Steam soon. Check out its trailer below!
So if you want to enjoy a cosy game whilst doomscrolling on Twitter, Idle Waters is the one for you.

Set to fully release some time in the future but already available to try out as a free demo on Steam, Idle Waters is a “relaxing idle fishing game” which sees your character wait for you at the bottom of the screen whilst you busy yourself in other tabs.
With the ability to catch, collect and display fish, this is one for the cosy gamers and collectors out there.
Developed by Ignita Games, Idle Waters is unlike other fishing games as this time, the fish wait for you.
You can focus on other tasks as your fisher waits for you and you are even able to zoom in or out, change the layout or hide it completely.

Whenever you are ready to fish, you can click back onto your little fisherman and get to it as you explore different ecosystems with a large variety of unique fish to catch.
With all different species of fish to collect, all with unique colours and looks, the collectors amongst you will definitely love Idle Waters.
Better yet, to show off your collection, you can display your catches in your personal aquarium which can also be shown on screen as you get on with other tasks.
If you are not yet convinced, you can check out the trailer but upon its announcement, it wasn’t long before potential players were praising Idle Waters.
